"Very helpful staff. Close to everything and especially restaurants like Monsieur Louis on Pl. Saint-Sauveur. Only small complaint would be how tight the bathroom was. A tall person would have trouble sitting on the toilet in the room I had on the 4th floor. But nice view from the balcony."

"Nice Hotel. We stayed in the family room in July of 2025 where there is a door that separates the other bedroom, which was nice as we stayed with our 2 adult children. The rooms did not have AC, but they do have windows that open (no screens unfortunately) that brought in cool air. We paid for their breakfast which was pretty good. Only about a 15 minute car ride to the Juno Beach museum. They have a parking lot, but with only about 10 stalls. We had to park in the front which was fine. ...

"Mathieu and family made us feel very welcome in this lovely little hotel. The rooms are small and simple, but tastefully designed and very comfortable. It's a small hotel, so don't expect a huge buffet breakfast - just good bread, cheese, homemade yogurt and the local speciality teurgoule. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the castle and abbeys, and there are lots of buses and trams (get the Twisto app}. "

"We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. "
