"Sorry to say, this was my least favorite hotel in Sri Lanka (and the most expensive). The vibes were just weird, and the room did not have a secure lock - unsettling for me as a female solo traveler. It's very loud in the halls (no noise insulation), and dogs will bark outside of your first floor room middle of the night. I probably slept for 2 hours and couldn't wait to leave. There was also a giant lizard in my room just as I was going to sleep. I had a drink at the pub on site and found it to be charming. "

We enjoyed walking the tea trails - just expect to make an effort on the plantation hills. We also relaxed and enjoyed the hotel every afternoon.
