"Excellent food from all of the restaurants, snack bars and even the buffet. Good range of pools without any major issue finding sun loungers. Beach is sandy and can easily swim in the sea safely. Water park is great to have as another option. Hotel is big on sustainability so have to refill your own water bottles each day, but easy enough to do. We occasionally needed to request the room to be cleaned via the app as not always done daily, however each time we requested it to be cleaned it was...

"We had a fantastic relaxing time at Creta Royal hotel. Hotel staff were very professional and attentive. Hotel and room were spotless all areas cleaned everyday. Food was amazing both at breakfast and dinner with lots of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians something different everyday. Desserts were also varied and enjoyable.Beach and pool areas were wonderful. Enough chairs and parasols for everyone. Bus number 20 is 2 euros into rethymno old town easy and accessible. Bus is evey hour....

"Eigentlich alles perfekt - bis auf das Essen. Bin wirklich nicht verwöhnt, aber sowohl Fisch als auch Fleischgerichte waren IMMER nicht genießbar: zu Tode gegrillt oder gebraten. Kein Saft, kein Geschmack, hart & zäh. Ferner war das Live Cooking im Restaurant aufgrund einer fehlenden leistungsstarken Abzugsanlagen eine Räucherei der Gäste. Das einzig Positive waren die freundlichen Mitarbeiter vom Housekeeping und im Restaurant. Die Zimmer wirkten nur oberflächlich sauber, waren aber in Wirklichkeit schmutzig. Das Badezimmer unseres Zimmers war voller Schimmel – absolut inakzeptabel. Unser Zimmer hatte außerdem einen privaten Pool, der ebenfalls schmutzig war und offensichtlich nicht regelmäßig...

The hotel is exceptional - we have stayed in many places all over the world and Uzenie is genuinely the best. "We had a fantastic stay at this lovely small hotel with amazing staff. It is located about 3K from Rethymnon old town making it a quieter location for a peaceful holiday, but there are still plenty of good eateries and shops near by and a taxi into town is 12 euro. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It’s right on the beach and boasts 3 pools (one of which is indoors). There are more sun loungers than guests so you will always find somewhere to soak up the sun whenever you venture...
