"We absolutely loved our stay at The Verb Hotel. The vibe is upbeat, fun, and effortlessly cool from the moment you check in, you’re treated like a VIP (literally getting your room key on a lanyard like a backstage pass).
The music memorabilia everywhere was such a great touch, and the record player in the room was so much fun. A unique detail that really sets this place apart. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with the record player being an awesome added bonus.
Breakfast was another great surprise with hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, croissants, bagels, waffles, coffee, and orange juice, everything you need to start your day. And I have to say, the staff were some of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen constantly moving, friendly, upbeat, and genuinely happy to help.
Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location can’t be beat. It was a short walk to Fenway, bars, and restaurants. We stayed for the Wasabi Fenway Bowl, and being that close was absolutely perfect.
Fun, clean, convenient, and full of personality, The Verb is a must stay if you’re coming to Boston. We’ll definitely be back."
"I had a great stay and can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. Everything was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made the stay easy and stress-free.
I especially want to call out the valet team. I managed to lose my valet ticket, and instead of making it a hassle, they handled it with patience and kindness and got everything sorted out quickly. It could’ve been stressful, but they made it a non-issue.
Excellent service all around. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation."
"I was relocated to a different property about a mile away with...not great communication. That is, no one told me that I was staying somewhere different than the location I booked, the check-in text just had a different address listed. I realized this on the ride over to the location, but showed up to the original address since I wasn't really sure what was going on. Spoke to someone who said I was relocated due to some sort of issue; she was fairly rude. Ok, whatever. Anyway, I have pretty low standards for cleanliness, comfort, etc., but this was well below my already low bar. Think "worse than a crappy hostel." The guy overseeing the property was nice enough, though, so shout out to him."
