Enjoyable stay but breakfast could be better.

We enjoyed our stay at The Kings Arms Lancaster; overall, it was an average experience. The accommodation met our expectations and provided a comfortable visit. However, the breakfast did not meet the same standard, and I would recommend that management consider improvements in this area to enhance the overall guest experience.

Great location. Right in the centre, opposite the castle and near the railway station. Staff were great. Needs a bit of an update and is an old building, but really pleasant stay.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, the beds a little soft for me but thats personal preference. The breakfast was good. The hotel is within walking distance of the train stations which was excellent.

Clean and tidy with excellent service from reception staff. Rooms are a little tired (albeit we went for standard) and breakfast was a bit of a farce but did the job and the two receptionists we dealt with were truly excellent

Beautiful hotel! Stayed in a suite which was veey clean and very spacious with a great view of the castle. Parking not on site but close by and inexpensive. Restaurant offered a good variety and was reasonably priced.

A great stay, everything we needed with fantastic staff. Room was great, beds comfortable and best breakfast I've had in a hotel for years. Staff were warm and friendly, couldn't ask for more. Will definitely be back.
