"I stayed here for Ironman Lake Placid. The space was comfortable, clean, quiet, and located walking distance from the US Olympic Training Center, hockey museum, restaurants, coffee, (Origin Coffee is recommended!) gas and a short walk to swim start. If I were to come back to race again or just to visit, I would definitely stay here!"

"The inn needs some rehabbing. The carpets were ripped in spots. There was molding missing on a corner wall. Later noticed it was standing up in the corner of the room."

"Very nice property. Parking was a challenge with the race. I parked on the lower level and always found a spot. Maybe just spruce up the entrance down low (I know it’s a maintenance area) but it’s also a hotel entrance. Front enterance could Use some sprucing as well. May seem Minor, but this is the guests first impression. I will Just trying to help with some Useful feedback. Definitely be Back."

"Worst Marriott experience ever. Beware that there is no parking, the front desk staff is unhelpful, and the valets are positively rude! Not what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber."

"The Pros: Comfortable beds and living room seating, easy to use shower, kitchen with all the basic essentials, excellent location with easy access to multiple good restaurants and a park next door with a lake view The Cons: The stairs to the 3rd floor where most of the units are located are old and steep and have been covered with a vinyl material so that every step you take makes a terrible crunching noise. The carpeting at the entryway to the 3rd floor is filthy - although the carpeting in...
