"Older property but well maintained. Restaurants are delicious and reasonably priced. We weren’t aware of all the extra activities till we checked in but the staff gave us a helpful letter showing everything that was included. Can’t remember her name…Luanda perhaps? The woman from Brazil that works at the front desk. She went above and beyond helping us borrow mountain bikes and absolutely made my daughter’s day (7 yr old) chatting her up when we were getting ready to leave."

"We loved this accommodation. Friendly staff, quick and easy check in. Spacious modern rooms. Well appointed with everything we needed. Close to Samson Mall for shuttle bus service to and from both lake Louise and morraine lake. Great whirlpool to soak your muscles after a long day hiking. Breakfast well priced and great options available. A highlight for us."

"Amazing location. We stayed in the main lodge, but there are separate cabins. The view of the nearby moutains is incredible. The lodge is off-grid, but they generate their own power. There is a river within walking distance. An artesian spring bubbles up from the parking area. The water in the area is blue from minerals. It's right in the heart of the Rockies near Golden, BC. It's well worth the visit. Staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a nice chat with the manager."
