  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Like many of the Lake George properties, this is a motel probably built in the 60s but it's clean and well maintained. We were given room 41 with a king size bed and a nice view of the lake

Clean cozy rooms, great views of Lake George and they offer family fun activities each evening such as making sundaes and root-beer floats and s’mores. Short walk to Shepard park and the center of town.

Great location, very walkable to stores, restaurants and sites of interest. Best part is the Lake Motel is right on the lake. Loved the patio with the firepits, that really enhanced our stay. Rooms are a little narrow but was fine for overnight stay.

This property gave all the appearances that it had very recently been renovated. The upgraded taken place particularly in the bathrooms. The fixtures, tub, toilet and sink appeared to be very new, bright and spanking clean. The bedroom area was spacious and the bedding was super clean and fresh also very comfortable. The outside facilities could accommodate many families for fun and relaxing on the many deck levels, there were lounges, chairs grills and swimming/boating. This property is conveniently located to walk everywhere in the village. We had a blast and will return again
