The rooms were big and seemed more authentic than other places. But fir the price, of expected more. Most places I’ve stayed in Thailand offer massages, and other things. For the price I expected more. That said the staff were great, and we enjoyed our stay. Just more expensive than it should be.

Garden Resort
We had a Beach Front Deluxe Double bungalow that included breakfast and were there from 28 Aug. to 3 Sep. 2018. This resort is away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng but well located for general tourist activities. Enjoyed breakfast every morning. Clean large swimming pool with towels supplied at both the beach and the pool. Bungalows are located in a garden setting and most would have a sea view. All staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

Tunnelmallinen hotelli kivalla rannalla
Häämatkan ansiosta saimme hotellin parhaalla sijainnilla olleen bungalowin, aivan rannasta. Hotellin henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hotellin piha-alue viehättävää puutarhaa sekä ranta siisti. Merenpohja kivikkoista, vesi hyvin matalaa, suosittelen uimakenkiä. Hotellin ranta oli kauniilla paikalla, mutta sitä ei hoidettu: rantatuolit rähjäisessä kunnossa eikä rannalla mitään palveluita. Naapurihotellien rannoilla henkilökuntaa ja aktiviteetteja. Bungalow tilava ja perussiisti, mutta sisällä pimeää ja sisustus kulahtanut. Käyttövesi lämpesi vain ilmastoinnin ollessa päällä. Vessan lavuaarin hana roiski vettä sekä suihkun veden lämpötilaa hankala säätää kahdesta nupista. Vuode erittäin kova! Tyynyt ja peitot vanhat ja tunkkaiset. Huonepalvelu toi puhtaat pyyhkeet sekä kaksi vesipulloa päivittäin. Mikäli ovessamme oli ethän häiritse-lappu, huonepalvelu jätti vesipullot sekä vessapaperirullan kuistillemme odottamaan. Bungalowin kuisti oli hyvin tilava ja tunnelmallinen. Hotellin ravintolassa varsinkin juomat olivat kalliita, ruoka keskihintaista mutta hyvää. Aamupalabuffet hyvä ja kattava perusaamiainen, munanpaistopalvelulla, viihtyisässä tilassa. Hotelli oli aika syrjässä, mikä tarkoitti mukavan rauhallista aluetta mutta pidempää matkaa keskustan palveluihin. Chawengin kaupunkiin oli kävelymatka, mutta ydinkeskustaan matka oli melko pitkä kuumassa säässä. Kävelymatkan päässä kuitenkin pari ruokakauppaa sekä useita ravintoloita ja hierontapaikkoja.

Nice accommodation...but lacking atmosphere
Accommodation spacious. Location at very top end of Chewang (10-15 minute walk into central Chewang) However hotel lacks any atmosphere, pool area very ordinary, breakfast basic, beach ok. Overall hotel quite rundown and could do with some T.L.C. Staff at reception very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is priced accordingly for the spacious accommodation but unfortunately it ends there.

Beautiful tropical huts
Really lovely place in an otherwise modern and over developed area. Welcoming, relaxing with lovely huts in a lush tropical garden setting. Small private beach, which is perfect for family’s and just a 5 min walk from the main beach if you want to dip into the full on resort atmosphere that is Chaweng beach. Would chose this place every time if I was going again. Perfect.

A gorgeous, quiet setting right on the beach.
Lovely spacious bungalows tucked away in a quiet, private garden setting. Large covered deck to relax on. Options for seating, easy for drinks and nibbles, or a quiet relax with a book. Not many people around, so felt like our own little piece of paradise with our own staff! Helpful, friendly staff that were there when we needed them to organize outings. Although very clean, needs a bit of TLC - such as re-thatching of rooves & replacing pool tiles & table cloths as were getting a bit faded, but didn't have any impact on our stay at all. Breakfast buffet was great - superb range to choose from, different cooked options each day (eg french toast, crepes, pancakes). Omeletes made to order, no additional cost. A definite to stay if you like paradise with a touch of the rustic! Easy to get to other things - walk to a small shop for quick things or ATM, otherwise a songthaew to wherever you wanted. Perfect!

Beautiful wooden bungalows in a tropical garden
The resort is a typical thai gem! The spacious and beautiful little wooden villas are set in a wide spread tropical lush garden! The view to the beach and the ocean is breathless! If you really want to relax in nature, this is it! The only things which could be improved are the aircondition (its working but a little noisy) and the WiFi in the rooms! But all in all it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely book again!

Authentic Koh Samui Experience
The service from the front desk personnel especially Gan was amazing. Gan took the time to take us through the map of the island and things to do. What a great guy! The lady with the glasses that works with him was also amazing. This resort is so different and rustic. Not pretentious. The location is superb away from the hustle and bustle.

Amazing experience
Booked a beach front room and was not disappointed. Loved every minute. Great location if you want to be able to walk to the central part but not be in the middle of it all. An absolute haven away from the madness but not far enough not to join in when you want to. Serene private beach. Lovely staff. Missing Coral Bay Resort. Love the place and would return in a heartbeat. xxx

A little bit of Paradise
We originally only booked 2 nights here but after staying we extended 2 extra times for a total of 7 nights! Truly the most amazing traditional Thai resort with an incredible ocean view, delicious restaurant Coco Rock, huge bungalows with large balconies, a very private beautiful beach and lush tropical grounds. Staff have been so kind and accommodating, helping to book excursions and offering advice. A+ resort!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place in Thailand!

Empfehlenswertes Resort
Freundliches Personal, saubere Anlage, sehr schönes Zimmer, sehr schöne Gartenanlage. Man wohnt im eigenen Bongalow der sehr großzügig bemessen ist. Alleine die Terrasse ist so groß wie ein Zimmer. Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichlich. Einzig der Pool ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, ist aber nicht störend den der Strand ist unmittelbar nebenan.

Restaurant very poor. Pool is very old. Hotel was empty but we got a room very far from the beach, it was very difficult with the kids to move around. The room was very nice and big but totally not necessary for a small family

tranquil beauty
Everything was absolutely amazing. From the early check in to leaving, the staff was very helpful and super friendly. the rooms a 're spacious and beautifully decorated, each with a massive balcony facing the ocean. The garden is in amazing condition and staying there surrounded by that tranquility was just an amazing pleasure. The food at the restaurant on the beach is of top quality! Walking to Chaweng for a bit more enetertainment would take you about 15 minutes or only 5 minutes or less by til til or taxi which is passing all the time. I just love Coral Bay and would most definitely recommend it to anyone going to Samui.

Fantastisk hotell! Flott beliggenhet, litt unna Chaweng-"maset", men allikevel kort nok til at man kan gå bort når man vil oppsøke mer liv. Hotellet ligger utrolig flott til, og har en privat strand. Fint basseng, og svært gode solsenger. God mat i restauraten. Svært god frokost! Den beste vi hadde av alle stedene vi var i Thailand. Personalet snakket godt engelsk, særlig ift. hva man kan forvente, og var veldig behjelpelige. Et topp hotell på alle mulige måter. God verdi for pengene.

Back to nature resort.Bungalows were unique.
We were very happy to stay out from the noisy area , we enjoyed the beach which was not crowded with people and at night we could hear the waves to go to sleep, in the morning there were many birds in the area. The Bungalows were well apart. Although the pool area and restaurant were on the tired side and could do with a sparkle up , we could not fault the service at the resort.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel
I really cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. The beach is amazing in front of the hotel. The setting is so peaceful. The location is great its 5-10 mins from airport but you cannot hear planes at all from the resort (they must take off and land in another direction). The food is really good for breakfast and anything we ordered for lunch. All fresh fruit in the drinks we ordered while laying on the beach. The staff are the nicest people and had great recommendations.Easy to walk 5-10 mins from the resort to get to other restaurants or hop in a tuk tuk for 50 baht and head to other parts of the island. If you are on the fence about this hotel don't be the value is amazing for what you get. I hope we can come back soon!

コスパとても良いです。
接客　笑顔が素敵でアットホーム的な対応。 部屋　ミドルレベルの部屋を用意してもらったので広くはないが、おしゃれ、清潔感有、小物などもかわいく、満足。 総合　従業員さん、部屋、レセプション、レストラン、庭、ビーチすべてゴージャスという感じではないが、細かなところまで気を使いおもてなしをしようとしているのが感じられる。とてもよかったです。

Fabulous hotel great location.
Lovely bungalow very spacious with great facilities. Lovely large veranda perfect for relaxing on. Bungalows very spaced out and felt very private in large gardens. Right on the beach with a lovely restaurant and bar that served great food. Staff were excellent and everywhere kept very clean. Location good easy to get to the centre of the action but far enough away giving a more relaxed stay

Lovely, Romantic accommodation with great staff
The staff were really friendly and efficient. Our villa was a such a surprise. It was a wooden villa with a big balcony. We had a lovely sea view. The room had a huge comfortable bed, Loads of space with a really authentic feel and the bathroom followed suit. Just an amazing room. The breakfast was great. This is a really tranquil place which is very close to The bar in the hotel was very quiet so nice for a quite drink or it is about a 10 minute walk to the main action of chaweng beach

Laid back peaceful experience
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay starting from the warm reception of the very late night checkin staff right through to the end of our 5 night stay.We were fortunate to have a seaview cabin with large balcony set amongst tropical gardens with plenty of privacy and it was a lovely oasis and separate world apart after the bustle of Chaweng. A short 2min .walk to local shops and restaurants. Not a resort for the high 5 star full on lifestyle but a lovely way to relax and unwind in a peaceful eco style atmosphere.

Highly recommended !
Friendly staff and light to moderate exertion needed by my elderly father who can't walk too far. We were immediatly upgraded to beach front near to restaurant and on the beach. Beautiful quite place and the food was amazing!

chambre impeccable, avec salle de bain originale. mais matelas extrêmement dur et télé ancienne avec écran trop petit pour etre visionnée du lit personnel à l'accueil et au spa extremement gentil, parlant anglais, et faisant tout pour que votre séjour se passe au mieux. mais personnel du petit déjeuner non formé au standard de l'hotelerie européenne pouvant créer quelques incompréhensions de la part du client ( systeme de " ticket petit dejeuner" réclamé ou pris sur votre table avant même un bonjour, personnel semblant peu aimable car ne parle pas anglais et ne sachant dire que "ticket" ou "coffee ou the" matériel au niveau de la plage et de la piscine ayant déjà un vécu qui empêche cet hôtel a être considéré comme luxueux. ambiance très très très calme jardin luxuriant ajoutant au charme du bungalow bon rapport qualité prix si chambre n’excède pas 50 à 60 euros compte-tenu de la localisation ( plage privée au calme avec du fond permettant de nager et à 4 minutes de Chaweng en sangseuw, sans etre dans l'axe des avions)

阳光沙滩，绿化休闲，度假村棒棒哒
度假村离镇中心有一些距离，走路约20分钟左右，度假村绿化很好，一间间独立的茅草屋，房间外面还有面积不小的露台，有躺椅，长条凳等，房间内一个大床，一个沙发，我们是3个人，所以沙发给布置成了单人床就算加床了，房间内有中央空调还有吊扇，不过吊扇无法关掉，只能调高空调温度。打开房门就能看到海和沙滩，吃好早饭可以散步走走（早饭选择不多）。比较原始的风格，加上绿化植被多，所以小虫子什么的比较多，我看到了超级大的蜗牛，千足虫，还有壁虎啥的，一起来的小伙伴就有点害怕，个人认为还好，反正也不会招惹我们。前台很好，给我们很多帮助，帮忙叫车，定一日游等等

Un lieu typique
Bungalow spacieux au milieu de la végétation tropicale pas très loin du centre par la plage ou par la route. Décoration charmante. La literie dure n'est pas recommandée pour les dos fragiles. Le petit déjeuner simple mais correct. Une plage pour se relaxer mais Chaweng n'est pas très loin. Je recommande.

Good privacy and comfort
Large bungalows nicely separated from neighbours, comfortable bed with plenty of room to separate hot bodies (highest temperatures in 50 years!) Easy walk to main town with plenty of low cost "Jeepney" taxis passing every couple of minutes.

Süße Bungalowanlage
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen...auf unserer Reise mit 5 verschiedenen hotels (immer 3,4,5 Sterne) hat uns das Bungalow am besten gefallen! Die Häuschen sind toll eingerichtet nur die Matratzen waren etwas hart! Die Anlage ist wie ein Dschungel und und überhaupt nicht überlaufen! Der Strand war ok, aber wir sind mit dem Rollen ans andere Ende der Insel gefahren da war er noch viel schöner und nicht so überlaufen wie in Chaweng! Mit dem Roller ist man vom coralbay eigentlich überall wo man hin will recht schnell... Hat uns auch viel Geld und Zeit gespart 1000Barth/vollgetankt für 3,5 Tage - schräg rechts gegenüber vom Hotel! Das Restaurant im Hotel ist "ok" aber wir waren lieber außerhalb essen! Die Frauen an der Rezeption waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch der Kellner und der Koch beim Frühstück! Das Frühstück war ok...für Thailand ;-)! Kaffee und Tee leider nicht gut...aber der Saft war frischgespresst und super lecker!
