Shantaa is the most peaceful place i have been in thailand - its very private and even when the resort is fully booked it seems like there is four of five times more space than required. This makes it very special and magical - the staff are excellent and the food is also great ! Beds are super comfortable and the servive is perfect . Shantaa is a perfect place for people who are looking to escape life and find true tranquility for a moment - be careful though you might never want to leave !!

Location is ideal, on a beautiful bay/beach. Short walk to restaurants and bars (low key). We had a beachfront villa- highly recommended. The villas are well equipped with a huge shower but are a bit tired around the edges (as it seems a lot of resorts are in Koh Kood). The staff are excellent and very helpful. 2-night stay there is a total relaxation. I asked for the room closest to the beach and when I got there it was not. After informing the staff of my booking request, they worked on it and changed room for me. Thank you for nice hospitality and good services.

Great place to spend relaxing by the beach. Staff very friendly and attentive, location is great and villas are very well maintained. I will definitely be recommending High Season to friends and family!

Room is very cute and tiny,plz don’t stay in the room! The environment of hotel is the best in kho kut. Hotel private beach is very clean and quiet,I also visited other beach but it was very crowded. The staff are just like ur friends ,food is very good ,also like the cocktails there. definitely will visit next time!

Over the past decade we have stayed in dozens hotels and resorts in Thailand but this place stands out for cleanliness and how helpful and friendly every single staff member has been during our stay. The pool and beach are being kept immaculately clean, there is free use of paddle boards and beach chairs and for a fee you can get a massage on the beach. We recently had an excellent stay at Captain Hook Resort. Nestled in a secluded spot away from other hotels, it offers a peaceful, green, and idyllic atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Whether you're into kayaking, snorkelling, or simply enjoying the usual beach activities, this hotel provides the ideal setting. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the management is always on hand to ensure guests are well taken care of. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

The best location on the best beach in koh kood. You are really paying for this. The bungelow is basic but has everything you need. You get coffee, tea everyday. They bring you 2 bottles of water daily also. However they should not use plastic bottles and would like them to have a trash hero option just to refill your water bottle and not have so may plastic. We loved rest sea resort tucked away in a quiet secluded beach. Renting a scooter enables you to travel to other beaches and explore the island. Food was delicious and we ate on the beach at the resteraunt a couple of nights. The staff are very friendly, having stayed at other resorts on the island I would recommend this one for relaxation and being away from the crowds.

The staff were really nice and helpful. The only thing I had an issue with was the extra charges. For instance, there is a charge for ice and food to take away. If you break a glass 200 thb. Also the kayaks were at a cost ok no problem (even though I read they were free) but the paddleboards were expensive and they were in a pretty bad state…actually good for the bin as they were missing chunks and really not safe for use.
