"A beautiful, well appointed spot. However, there are some issues with the service. The on site gentleman was wonderful. They were in my room fixing the fireplace when I arrived, had to come fix it again, left me just with a sheet when I said I had allergies to down-requiring me to call for a blanket, and did not have the plunges or sauna operational the duration of my stay. To their credit, they worked to get at least the sauna running. However, they only revealed the issue AFTER I booked and paid and offered nothing in return for the disappointment until I asked to at least go in at 3 instead of 4-and someone was in the room fixing things. Too bad….its a gorgeous spot. If only things had worked for the few days of my stay, and I didn’t have to ask for the obvious: no one in my room when I check in, functional facilities, and blankets."

"This is an older hotel with the rooms being dated but clean. We have stayed here multiple times and would definitely come back. Great location. Friendly staff."
