"Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig und naturnah. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und immer für tolle Gespräche zu haben. Das ganze Grundstück ist beeindruckend in Größe und Artenreichtum. Zum Frühstück gab es selbst gebackenes Brot und selbstgemachte Marmelade sowie auch weitere Dinge. Toller Aufenthalt !"

"Loved our stay here. Hotel is much bigger than what meets the eye from the street (so they were able to accommodate our request for 2 separate beds. I think we essentially got a free upgrade). It's in a good central location, with everything within walking distance. Travel tips: Book a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you can. You get too see amazing parts that are not available during self-guided visits. Have dinner/drinks/listen to live music at Kyteler's Inn. It's a 700 year old...

"An authentic and well maintained older hotel entrance, lobby, restaurant and ballroom areas. Our room was located in an added newer building providing all the modern conveniences with one exception; there is no lift. If you are willing to carry luggage up a flight or two, then this is a great place to stay. All the medieval attractions, restaurants and shops were all within walking distance. We would stay here again if we ever get back to Kilkenny."

"The waterford castle did not disappoint! Beautiful property, ferry ride over to the private island and a friendly staff ready to tell you all about the wallabies and deer that share the island! The castle is gorgeous and the food is fine dining at its best! It is a true old castle so expect authenticity and a minor reduction in modern day amenities, but also know it is absolutely worth it! This stay made our trip highly memorable!"
