"Very clean hotel and room. Huge breakfast area with lots of items to choose from. Clearly they have a lot of guests stay at this hotel, and they manage it all very well. The staff are very helpful. I would stay here again. Ideal location to many stores and restaurants, LUAS tram immediately out front, O'Connel street nearby which is the starting point for many hop-on-off buses, and Connolly train station a 10 min walk away."

"The Mercantile is a recently renovated property, so everything is fresh and new. Rooms are a tad tight, but my understanding is that is to be expected. There isn’t much of a desk, and someone made a poor decision to glue their in-room phone right in the center of the little desk area there is. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are a little tough. Rooms were soundproofed so you don’t hear much outside, and they have great climate control/ air conditioning. Breakfast service could use a bit of...

"Excellent stay, very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms and hotel all round with a very friendly and helpful welcome. Restaurant is a great choice for good quality food and big portion sizes. Outdoor bar and seating area with great views is a bonus and a perfect place for relaxing on a sunny day. Great transport links to Dublin and further south with the DART only a 5 min walk away. Safe and welcoming location."
