"Older style ryokan definitely kept the old style, a great experience that I think the newer hotels wouldn’t give you. Great views of the lake, only a 5 minute walk around the corner to see Mt Fuji!"

"Beautiful location with wonderful staff.."

"Excelente hotel"

"It is a nice, clean simple hotel. Staff was helpful and the room was fairly spacious. My complaints are: (1) the breakfast was well below average for a hotel, and (2) the location is, well, in the middle of nowhere."

"Amazing Mt. Fuji view! Nice , modern interior. Make sure yo have small car, since the local streets are pretty tight."

"Clean hotel with friendly staff."

"Cosy, clean and friendly place to stay."

"Great view and great amenities. Just be careful driving to and from the property. The road is only wide enough for 1 vehicle"

"We arrived late in the day. Most shops were closed."

"Room very clean easy to go to see the Lake."

"The hotel was everything it advertised to be!! Although there were clouds the first couple days, when they cleared, we had a perfectly unobstructed view of mt Fuji. It was like looking at a postcard, totally unreal. Our host was above and beyond. His knowledge of local to do’s, food, sights, etc, was great and reliable. We stayed in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Kawaguchiko. Although Kyoto was amazing, nothing could top our accommodations in Kawaguchiko. Do yourself a favor and and stay here. Thx again!!!!"

"Wonderful space for families. Balcony view of mt Fuji! Enjoyed the kitchen and dining area to relax. Convenient location. Appreciated the discount to rent ebikes nearby."

"Nice hotel with friendly staff and tattoofriendly onsen."
