"It is a beautiful hotel with a very helpful staff. One of the kindest staffs I have met in all my travels. It is in a good "tourist" location as well - I was able to walk to the palace museum of the last king of Nepal and a good art museum. "Stayed for a total of 5-6 nights. Hotel is good. However rooms are a bit on the smaller side. Also this is a heritage hotel, so some rooms have extra furnishings than other. Overall a pleasant stay. Hotel is close by to thamel and other touristy areas in kathmandu. It is also about 30 mins away from airport during rush hour. Staff was helpful in arranging taxi to and from as needed. Food in nepal seems to on lower side of salt and spice and the same is seen in hotel. May be something the hotel...
