"Really nice hotel in the center of town. Breakfast was excellent. The room was large and well appointed, even if a little dated. There was a fan which is very rare in German hotels, but very helpful when it’s hot. Parking (on site) can be tough due to its location. Close to the train station as well. The staff was wonderful. "
"A charming, comfy hotel in the heart of old Ansbach! The hotel is family owned and staffed by friendly, helpful staff. The excellent restaurant has a delicious optional breakfast and an incredible dinner menu! The garden dinning area would be very nice in summer! Limited but nearby parking. No elevator but staff will help with luggage."
"Amazing, atmospheric place. Beautifully laid out to keep the feel of a fortified manor.
My only disappointment was the bed. My room had two singles pushed together, which is fairly normal in Germany. However these were two narrow wooden beds, with the frames higher than the mattress. Whilst the style was in keeping with the room, the actual sleeping space was limited, and I kept kicking the frame during the night. Mattress was comfortable though."
"Wunderbar restauriertes Hotel, das Zimmer ist komfortabel und groß, ein modernes Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war superlecker, frisches Rührei auf Wunsch. Sehr gerne wieder."
"Typical German Gasthaus. Parking can be a challenge getting out when lot is full. Limited pillows for bed. Stayed in Room 6 and did not have rouladin, so light shone in room and did not contribute to privacy. "
