Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

10/10 Excellent

"The rooms were well designed and comfortable, yes they are small, but this is Japan and it's a good size. The staff were always polite and helpful. There is a laundry room, it gets busy so choose your time. They also have a few microwaves if you want to cook a snack and an eating area. The Gym is reasonable and matches typical Hotel Gyms.. There are coffee shops and a few restaurants a quick 2 minutes walk from the Hotel and plenty of seats outside, I loved a coffee in the morning and sitting outside the hotel, which is pretty and quiet, a calm start to the day. There are family mart and 7 -11's nearby and the Metro station is a 5 minute walk.. Taxis are generally available during the day and park outside the main entrance. The reception area is large with plenty of seating and was a popular meet for the various groups that were there. Check in is 3pm, but if you are early, they will store your luggage. It's a great hotel and enjoyed my stay there."

"We are two girls travelling from Australia to Japan and had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was cleaned daily, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and happy to answer any questions we had. During our trip, a typhoon passed through the area, and the hotel kindly provided umbrellas for guests. Unfortunately, the umbrella we used broke during use, but we appreciated the hotel’s effort to assist guests during the bad weather. The hotel also offers free luggage storage, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel. The only downside was that the lobby and reception area became very busy from midday onwards, with many guests checking in and out, which sometimes resulted in longer wait times."
