It was awfully packed over the full moon weekend (would not recommend visiting during this period)! This pavilion-like structure at the front Paththirippuwa, or Octagon. It is a symbol of identity in Kandyan Architecture. In the olden days, the king would stand there to address his citizens who were gathered in front of him. The golden roof behind stands over the Buddha tooth relic that this temple is famous for. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town, which was great. But there was some sort of loud music or karaoke in the evening that was unexpected and went until 11 pm.

思ったより山の中でびっくりでした。 部屋の感じはネットの写真とあまり変わらない感じ。お風呂はシャワーの出が悪いけど、許容範囲。朝ごはんはフルブレックファストで問題なし。スタッフは親切でした。

Hotell i fjellsiden

Kjørte opp enn bratt vei for å komme til dette hotellet. Ble varmt tatt i mot på toppen. Ble guidet ned ein av mange trapper, til rommet som besto av 2 store rom med senger i. Var 2 bad og enn litten sittegruppe. Middagen og frokosten ble spist i stedets restaurant ennå noen trapper ned. Så ikke for folk som ikke greier å gå i trapper.
