My stay was restful and pleasant as planned. The staff was mostly friendly and accommodating. There was initially a wifi issue but that was quickly resolved once reported. The food wad delicious although i would suggest more variety. The room was very clean. I enjoyed the amenities altgough i wish there was a jacuzzi. Nightly entertainment was available but i would have loved it to be more diverse: local dancing, steel pan music, a real Caribbean experience.

Yes, the room felt neglected. We only had housekeeping on the first day. And the staff was OK but not great. They did not feel happy to be there. Sometimes it felt like we were bothering them to ask me for anything.

This was listed/rated as a 3-star All Inclusive resort. our 5 day stay there was a 3 star stay, so we were not disappointed. The registration was slow, but OK. The room very small, but clean. The bathroom had a nice shower with good pressure and hot water. The bed was comfortable. The room could definitely use a renovation/update, but was 3-star worthy. The grounds were well kept, but dated and would have been really nice in 1979 when built. The food was plentiful and good; that said, get to meals early as they don't generally restock on a timely basis, at least. Get there early to "The Palms" to get the best selection. The Pizza Factory service was outstanding. Food was good with a limited menu. It's not all pizza. The entertainment was worthy of "older" guests...not a nightclub atmosphere. Relaxing. The beach was truly magnificent. Most of the staff were 3-star...adequate. Accommodating but not overly or outwardly friendly. Except at the Pizza factory, where everyone we encountered was superb. The 2 waterfront attendants lack personality and did not seem to enjoy work. Staff at Coconut Grill and the adjacent bar were good...but maybe a bit overworked, or, at least, not in any hurry to do their job. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider going back. If you want a super attentive 5-star contemporary extremely well kept resort...this is not it. It's serviceable, clean, and value driven. It's not bad at all, but manage expectations.

Our stay at Jolly beach was anything BUT Jolly. The rooms were severely outdated, doors off hinges or did not close, door knobs loose and hanging off doors. Our inital greeting walking into the resort was attitude and like we were bothering them. Food was disgusting,and limited and some nights nothing was left by 6:30pm. People were yelling this was worse then a homeless shelter" food that did come out was cold. No emergency kits when asked for a bandaid we were told they had none. The best part was when we asked very nicely for FRESH towels and inquired why our room wasnt cleaned? We were told "DIDNT YOU GO TO ORIENTATION ?" Which we didnt bc WE WERE NOT TOLD AT CHECK IN! So we did not that it was OUR FAULT and not theirs. We asked for towels never received them. Had to ask again 3 hrs later FINALLY GOT TOWELS!!!! Check out was also an issue its like everyone is just miserable there. Coming from working with the public in the states this is NOT how we greet and treat paying customers. I can say we will not be going back to Jolly beach resort. I will also be calling expedia.

Probably the worse resort on Carribien IslandsThis is a motel in the terrible condition . It is at least 45 years old and was never renovated. No chair, no fridge , no bottle of water in the room.They don't clean your room unless you pay extra, Food is horrible plus very limited and not sufficient quantality If you don't come by the the beginning of breakfast or lunch or dinner 30 minutes later plates are empty . And they barely refill them). They run out of everything burgers, fries etc . terrible quality local alcohol in the bars.Service is not good at all ( they are doing you a favor ). Beach is good but has no service ( not even life guards ) on the beach. You definitely can find a better place with a good beach for your money. NEVER again experience . Absolutely NOT SUITABLE for DISAABLE people. No accommodations at all . Plus steep step to get into the sea on the beach. Find a better place. You deserve it. Antugua is a nice island but overpriced and overrated

Check in was not very welcoming. Instructed to scan a QR code and fill in the information yourself. We were not made familiar with the basics, for example where were the public washrooms on the resort, where do we get beach towels, where are the restaurants and their hours? We were not told about the orientation meeting that takes place the following morning, but there is a sign at the tour desk that will tell you about it, if they remember to display it, which they did not. Most of the resort information was gained by fellow visitors. There is a lot of walking and stairs, so ask about room location when booking and disclose any mobility issues in advance. The food was really good, providing an array of choices at the buffet and wait staff were delightful.

Great beach. Sometimes hard to get a drink bc most bars close or staff aren’t attentive. Never had anyone clean the room or bring towels (we grabbed our own from housekeeping cart). Food was fine… only able to eat at buffet though. Fine resort if you want to hang at the beach..

The room was outdated. The room does not have hot water, TV was broken, AC didn’t work and Wi-Fi is ver poor! We complaint to the front desk and nothing was done about it!

Rooms are outdated, very small and only have 2 plug-ins. Rooms are based on size of bed-not ocean front. Service and food were lacking. We waited over 2 hours for our food. The hotel also had a hard time accommodating our large group. BUT, the beach is absolutely amazing.

Yes. That was the only decent thing. Extremely over priced. It should be 1/4 the price they charge. I will be speaking with my Attorney in regards to this experience. I was lied to through there sites. They are extremely guilty of False Advertising and Over charging customers. I would say it's the absolute worst resort on planet Earth. I would tell everyone, never stay there. The rooms are like a third world country, and there are no amenities or services. The food at the resort is extremely limited, also food is like your in a third world. This is absolutely the worst resort on planet Earth. I paid 2,000$ U.S., I should be about 700$ for 10 days All inclusive....... I've stayed all around the world, from All inclusive to Hotels of all levels and Hostels. This was the absolute worst , yet extremely expensive for the limited service and worst food and amenities... I was ready to fly to another island after day 2. That's how foul, and disgusting. I should have flushed my money down the toilet or saved it. 100% disappointed. I will tell the world never to go there.!!!!!!!

Jolly Beach is an ok property but what makes it great is the staff and the beach I was really impressed with Clinton the duty manager he was always availble to help with any concerns or help out the other staff if he saw that the lines were a little longer and guest were getting antsy. Paulette at the front desk was also very approachable and helpful with a smile.I would also love to thank Yolanda in the spa for the great pedicure she did on my sister. Mrs Judith for her infectious smile everyday at breakfast in the palms restaurant . Downside is having to pay $10 per day for housekeeping it only becomes complimentary on 7th day and having to wait inline to book the specialty restaurant....which is great food loved our server Brilana.

There were positives and negatives ar this resort. Negatives: The room was very dated, there were not enough cupboards or drawers. The bathroom door kept falling off the tracks. The employee at the tour desk, Margaret, was often unfriendly and condescending to the guests. The food was average and the same every day, especially breakfast. Many alcoholic drinks were always too sweet or watered down. Positives: Most service staff were friendly and helpful, the beach was clean and very beautiful. The main pool was absolutely gorgeous. Nightly entertainment was good. The food at the Pizza Factory was really delicious.
