"This hotel was awful, under construction a mess everywhere. Rooms are super small, our room smelt like marijuana maybe from the rooms next door but I was there with kids so not the best smell. Front desk was a couple fold out tables put together. Elevators were sketchy and barely functioning. Parking garage is awful, trucks can barely fit and the garage cement looks like it’s about to collapse. The only good thing was the staff was very professional and helpful."

"Cockroaches in the room, the floor was dirty and cracked, big difference between the lobby and the room, staff was bad. The lady at the reception when we check in was not in the mood to check in us, the valet is 50$ per night and don’t help at all. No hello, No door opens, no help with the luggages, nothing. Staying on the phone and waiting for us to give them the keys. Nobody told us that they had a breakfast, anyway didn’t want to try it. I saw a bar somewhere outside, nobody told us to check it out, didn’t knew the hours or anything."

"Room was not what was expected. Pictures on website were misleading. The handicap shower was ok, but the water poured on to the tile floor making it very slippery. Staff was not knowledge on shuttle times"

"Each room is perfectly curated with all amenities to make the stay comfortable, even including a Roku, welcome scones, and white noise machine. The ambience is perfect due to the kind hotel staff and picturesque decor. A true oasis in the middle of bustling Houston!"

"The hotel is beautiful but there were some negatives. The pool was not heated. The spa lacked a steam room. The restaurant food was not good at all (the most disappointing part). And they keep these large koi fish in an indoor pool area with no access to the sun. Koi need sun for their health. This to me was just pure animal cruelty. For that reason, they should be ashamed of themselves."

"The entire property was beautiful, the staff was amazing, the FOOD oh my goodness, it was incredible. I only wish the menu had just a bit more of a selection!! I would love to see what else they have to offer. I did notice some dusty areas of the room that look like they just often get overlooked, nothing out of control. I did find a long hair in the bath tub.. but, I know things happen!! Now, there was one thing I had actual issue with, and it was the shower. The rainfall shower head had absolutely no water pressure whatsoever, half of the holes in the shower head were clogged so water really only came out of one section. It was extremely disappointing!"
