John Hay National Wildlife Refuge

The wonderful former summer home of John Hay, one of President Lincoln’s secretaries and close confidant.  Situated on the eastern shore of Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire it is owned by the US Park Service and run by a non-profit.  A wonderful place to visit and take a tour of the main house or walk the trails and gardens that abound.
