"Good location, shopping area just adjacent to hotel. Easy check in. Staff manner and responses were good. Room was spacious and clean, but bed a bit hard and pillows too soft. Need to improve sound proofing between rooms (the neighbouring room was too noisy at midnight, but glad that the hotel staff quickly managed the situation then)"
"The room is warm, location is good, can walk from IFS building and too many restaurants. But the bath room tiel grout is black. It made me feel not clean. Air condition pipe has leak trace and back mold. After i contacted to reception, they was a good responsible to come to check but can not change anything.

"The Merica Hotel Chengdu Changxi Road is an excellent value for the cost. Rooms with windows are very small. Rooms without windows are much larger, but do not offer any extra storage or seating vs rooms with windows. Easy walk to shopping, food, and several museums and park. "
"We had an excellent stay! The hotel is unique compared to big chains. It looks great in a retro deco. All staff were amazing and made us feel home. Especially Miss. Chen, she's quick to respond and very helpful. We love the afternoon tea and breakfast. "
