"Excellent location right inside the old city. Easy walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and more. Check-in happens at a coffee shop outside Ploce Gate, so be prepared to walk 8 mins to the hotel. Fairly easy walk, but cobbled streets. Inside, the property, rooms and decorations are immaculate and beautiful. No elevator, so a fair bit of stair climbing. Minor point: safe wasn't functioning in my room due to previous guests leaving it locked. Staff is very friendly and helpful. John...

"The room was lovely, with a nice private terrace. Guesthouse Fortyfour is in the middle of the walled city, so it was a busy area with loud music from a nearby bar at night. The windows are well sound-proofed, which helps! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Thank you to the Guesthouse team!"

"It has got the great location within the old town, only a few meters away frm the entry of the city walls. The host Dubravka met us during the check in, provided a lot of information regarding where to eat, shopping, attractions. We have had a great experience in Dubrovnik. "

That said, it’s right in the heart of old town so you can hear a lot of happy people having a good time until quite late. Stay here anyway and bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. "
