Forest Park Hotel

"Nicely updated, very comfortable room and bed. The balcony would have been nicer if we had a view and was in the sun (we were facing a wall unfortunately and it was cold without any sun) but the other balconies looked like they would be nice to hang out on. Our room also included a well stocked kitchenette with brand new appliances, we were only there one night, so we didn't use it, but I could see it being very nice to have if we were staying longer. Lots of construction going on from the renovations made it a bit difficult to find the entry way and good parking, but the noise was never an issue for us where we were staying. It's a shame the gym/pool/restaurant weren't open, but there are options to go to their neighbouring hotel to use their amenities."

"Immaculate mountain lodge. Very relaxing. Kayak / canoe rental should be part of resort fee. They want $95 rental per hour and very few people use them which I feel defeats the purpose!"

"We stayed in the heritage mountain view cabins. The view was spectacular! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We visited the restaurant and that was good as well. The property was well maintained and the cabin was very clean. There was a fireplace in the cabin as well that kept it toasty warm. There is a tiny bit of highway noise but nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. Overall 10/10!"

"The location is wonderful right at the intersection of the main street and Minette Avenue. I had a window over facing a nice little triangle part directly in front of me and with the bars and grills outdoor patio dining directly below me the rooftop hot tubs are wonderful. There’s limited parking. I lucked out and got it right at the inn. The bar and Grill are very good. I missed out on the restaurant. It looked good as well."
