Mr. Tony Davis the bellman was great. He had a very welcoming spirit from the time we arrived. He was very knowledgeable of the area, he mad great refrences for food etc. Also the two young ladies at the front desk were amazing. I will definitely be back

Everything was absolutely amazing. The room was clean, the staff were top notch, big shout out to the valets for luggage and cars, they are all top notch. Thanks Marriott for an amazing experience during a special time to see the Thorn at the Performing Arts Center. What a treat, walk out the door and walk into the theater.

I had a guys on a business trip and they made it very convenient for them as a booking agent for them. I have never experienced such great staff service over the phone. They were very helpful and they were able to help us with our needs if you're ever in Jacksonville, this is probably one of the best places to stay, especially with such a helpful staff

The hotel is going through some upgrades, but I don't believe they have completed the work. The rooms have been upgraded, however I am not terribly impressed. Good size rooms, but too stark and sterile. Scale of furniture is off for size of room. They could also use some area rugs to warm up the otherwise sterile feeling. Looks like it was designed on a dime. Staff was polite and helpful. I had prepaid my room but they charged me twice and held $700 on my debit card for over 5 days which is not cool. Area was convenient for my reasons to be there, but there is nothing going on at night. It's a little depressing.

Staff was extremely cordial and restaurant food was excellent. Our room had a few issues including: the bed felt like it needed to be replaced, was lumpy and felt like there were ‘ruts’ from use; the toilet seat was broken; the TV was frustrating as the remote control had at least a 5 second delay after pressing a button; the only streaming service available was Netflix; the TV image flickered often.
