Clean, spacious rooms. Everything you want in a jungle retreat. Quiet areas to relax, boasting incredible views. The staff was over-the-top courteous, offering a warm welcome. The complimentary breakfast was just enough to start your day exploring the beautiful island.

Very nice hotel, beautiful garden, great location near the beach with bioluminescense. Wonderful night walk to this beach offered by very friendly staff member, who spoke perfect English and told us many interesting things. The hotel staff also helped us to organize a kayak tour and book a taxi - thank you! The only thing I didn't like was the receptionist adding a tip to our restaurant bill without asking us if and how much we would like to tip and without even informing us about it - I suddenly noticed the amount he was charging was not what we were expecting... Tips are fine, but I definately prefer to decide about them on my own. Apart from this detail, we had a great stay and will be happy to come back in the future.

Overall this property surpassed my expectaions. The consierge was more than helpful! Went out pf her way to give me dining recommendations and places to go for drinks. Helped with transportaion rentals amd taxi rides as well. Place was clean and well kept. Restaurant was also very good! The only draw back is its about a 25 minute walk from Centro.

Beautiful, perfect, honestly best hotel, staff, all was perfect. We preferred walking all the way downtown to have more restaurant options and access a more warm and clean area of the beach but the location was still perfect. It’s a fun 30 minutes walk to the downtown area or a 5-10min taxi ride.

We had 11 days in casa HX. We had an upgrade room it's was perfect and clean. The breakfast include was good. This is a relaxing hotel with good staff. Everyone was kind and helping ! Thanks again to Carla, Betty, Annie and Emmanuel for making our stay a perfect vacation!!!

The property is lovely and the staff is excellent. Daniel and Betty are both personable, and helpful. Casa HX is a lovely and unique property with an interesting layout. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. It lives up to the pictures on the website. Some minor repair work was needed in places, but these are smalls details. Commuting to and from the hotel was a small issue due to the distance from downtown. To counter this, local taxis have a transparent rate structure which is affordable. We also walked the distance (25 minutes) without feeling unsafe day or night. I would suggest that you bring a flashlight.

Nice property and very friendly staff. The food was ok but a little overpriced. Poor infrastructure makes the location hard to get to and when it rains, you’re sort of stuck unless you want to trudge thru dozens of muddy foot deep mud puddles. Taxis charge a premium to service you out there which makes complete sense but makes excursions a bit pricey.

We had our baby moon here and it was perfect because it was quiet which is what we were looking for. The property was pretty and the vibe was perfect but the number one thing that made this hotel stand out was the staff. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. If I had to complain about one thing it would be that our AC was would drip from the condensation which wouldn’t matter except it was directly over the headboard so we’d feel a little droplet here and there nothing that stopped us from being able to sleep. It was great being so close to Punta Coco beach.

The best thing about our stay was the breakfast: fresh fruit and juice plus the BEST chiliquiles. Not much else was as expected. We had no hot water the last 2 days of our stay. We found a scorpion in our room and they wouldn't help us remove it. Our plunge pool was only turned on the first day of our stay so we couldn't use it. Everytime we returned to the room I had to clean up lizard mess. But the problem is that there was a pile of lizard mess accumulating behind the toilet which shows a complete lack of thorough cleaning. They ran out of clean pool towels and wouldn't even give us a bath towel to use by the pool. Would NEVER stay here again.

While the hotel itself is gorgeous and the cleaning staff were friendly and efficient thats about where the good qualities of this hotel start and end. The food was decent if you don’t mind waiting over an hour for the actual food to arrive while also being the only people in the restaurant. The pool was nice, if you don’t mind the broken chairs. The AC was broken when we moved into our room, blowing air but it was not cold so the room was perpetually at 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. We complained about it 3 separate times on the first day of our stay but after being told we didn’t know how to work the AC remote and one of the kitchen guys coming up to look at it and doing nothing because he didn’t know how to fix it we gave up and just dealt with it. The housekeepers must have noticed the temperature at some point because an actual maintenance guy showed up 4 days into our stay but was a bit creepy. He didnt knock he just looked into the window OF A ROOM FILLED WITH WOMEN and didn’t knock until I caught him standing there. Not okay. He came in and completely broke the AC to where it was showing an error message and wasn’t blowing at all. The front desk lady who was cordial enough to me was extremely rude to my companion. You would think after all of the grief we went through with the AC and being creeped on they would comp our lunch but all they gave us was a $30 USD voucher. Too little too late. Check out was an absolute disaster. Gorgeous but not worth the grief.

It is a 30-40 minutes walk from the landing pier if the streets are dry, but due to the water pools on the streets it was not possible for us to reach the hotel walking. One would need a taxi (M$ 250) to get there. The hotel is rather new and very original, several bungalows around two (small) pools. Without the water pools on the street it is a less than 15 minutes walk to the coco beach (salinas with flamingos) and around 10 minutes to the casablanca beach. Even nearer is the bioluminiscencia area. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Very good internet.

best hotel

this was absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve ever been with. I love the experience at whole Bosch since I came in with reception even before I had an issue with the date and the receptionist was able to change them to the correct dates even after hotels.com did not want to do it. All of the staff is super wonderful super friendly. I love it and I can’t wait to go back.
