Hard Rock Hotel Madrid

10/10 Excellent

"We had a good overall experience at the Hard Rock House which was nicely furnished. The bar area is nice for hanging out. The rooftop bar did not have the vibe we had anticipated, but this could because it was so hot in Madrid. We had breakfast one of the mornings and it was okay, but their lunch and dinner me was really good. This hotel is a about a 20 minute walk to the Prado. Wished there were more restaurant options around the hotel, but a walk, cab or train ride was an easy fix. The hotel is also very near the Atoche train station which was nice."

"We stayed at the Only You hotel in Valencia and we were really impressed with the hotel.....so, we decided then to stay at their hotel in Madrid. Just not the same. Quality of the hotel, service, rooms and meals were not up to the standard we expected after staying at their Valencia hotel. It is a nice place, but we were expecting better and were surprised to see that much difference."

"Loved this hotel. Very trendy. Great location and fantastic staff. Lots of nice areas to chill and enjoy a drink or work (if needed). Love the patio area. Spacious and comfy. The breakfast was perfect. We didn’t eat in the restaurant other than breakfast but the pizzas looked delicious. We had a cocktail each in the bar on our last night and they were fab. Try the black cocktail. So good. Can’t remember the name though. Our hotel room was fab. Great size, lovely products in the bathrooms. Love the refillable water bottle in the room and the fact there’s a water fountain on each floor. It also comes with a yoga mat and small hand weights. We were very lucky to get a late check out till 2pm and got to enjoy the sun upstairs on the rooftop and use the shower facilities before our flight home. The gym was the only thing to disappoint. Just a small room with 3 pieces of cardio, a bench and some very light weights. We ended up going elsewhere to workout. The rooftop pool is very nice with lovely views. It gets very busy though and can be hard to get a seat/ bed around the pool. It only opens at 11am and people are queuing to get in meaning after 11:02 it’s full. There are other seats around the corner though. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Lots of positives and great location."
