"Tokyu stay in Kamata was one of the cleanest hotels i have ever stayed at. The staff were very nice and helpful. Also it is located in a very convenient place, close enough to shinjuku by train but far enough from the congested traffic. I am definitely going to stay here again whenever i come back to Japan."

"Conveniently located one block away from Kamata train station and some stores such 7/11, Don Quijote and UniqLo. Staff delivered an exceptional treatment. Surrounding area is known for having a working-class atmosphere packed with bars, alley restaurants, arcades and sometimes this means noise, however we enjoyed a noise-free stay, despite the gritty surroundings."

"A big step up from the typical business hotel. The motorized bed and projector screen, along with easy HDMI access made it really easy to watch media with my Amazon Fire stick. There's an amazing rooftop lounge and free happy hour beer everyday at 5:30pm. It's a fun, high tech hotel in a convenient location - with access to several lines including direct access to Haneda airport. Lots of places to eat and drink in the area, including late night options. 2 minor complaints - the area is a bit sketchy and there are touts hanging around in front of the building at night. I just ignore them or tell them I'm not Japanese and they leave me alone. Also, I didn't really enjoy the included breakfast - if it's an extra cost I'd consider passing on it. Also I could hear a fair bit of street noise at night, even on the 5th floor. It might be worse on lower floors. If you're sensitive to that sort of thing, it's something to consider. Otherwise, I'd definitely stay there again. It's good value and a comfortable stay."

"Bathroom has some mold staining. It looked like it had been cleaned, but couldn’t be totally fixed. Otherwise, seemed clean and well kept. Convenient spot for the Haneda Airport, and they’ll hold your luggage for you before your check in time if needed."
