Large updated room with king size bed, but a small bathroom with little shelf space. Had to request a hairdryer from the front desk as none was provided. Nice owner.

Second stay at the Blue Gem in the past year. Once again did not disappoint. Wish I had asked for a room in the 'front' it just seems nicer but they were booked out. Great stay, clean rooms and very convenient.

Rooms were clean and facilities were very nice. Could use some hangers in closet, an iron, and bar of hand soap. 1 bar was given which was used in shower. Overall it was the reviews that made me book this motel and they were all accurate.

Simple and affordable option. Super comfortable beds!! We stayed in the lower level which had huge rooms. No carpeting on the floor but that did not bother us. It is an older hotel that has been renovated. It’s not fancy but honestly I was just as comfortable here as any other more expensive newer hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the proximity with downtown, the installation was well maintained and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there was very nice outdoor area with games to play during our downtime.

I really like this hotel. This is my second stay. Unfortunately the staff didn’t recognize my reservation(?) I had to call multiple times to confirm my reservation. Perhaps this is an Expedia problem (?) The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, nearby diner is awesome (pink flamingo). We are scuba divers and this is very near the Cave Country Dive shop and about 15 minutes from the famous Ginnie Springs park. I really hope the can get the reservation issues fixed.

Very comfortable mattreses and pillows, plenty of clean towels and fresh scent toiletries, covered area outside with picnic tables, big chess set for va the kids to play. The rooms have microwave and mini fridges, coffee machines. It is within walking distance to the charming downtown of high springs with va antique shops, nice restaurantssand ice cream parlor. The lication is also close to state parks and gorgeous natural a springs where you can rent tubes and go dosn bc the a rivers.

The property was convenient and the accommodations were good. The manager / front desk worker was very nice, helpful, and cheerful. The price for stay is also fair for the accommodations that you receive.

Terrible terrible motel/hotel room. The only good thing was the check-in process. After that, it was just a horror show. The floor was dirtiest. You will see it when you wash your feet (black stuff getting washed away from your feet). TV does not work. AC/Heating unit is your white-noise machine. Anyone who walks upstairs, can just get through the ceiling and come to the downstairs room. It was that noisy just with people walking upstairs. The bathroom is on another level in terms of cleanliness and setup. Instead of an exhaust fan in the bathroom, the fan grill was spackled to the ceiling. This means, there is no Fan, and there is no window for the ventilation. No toilet napkin holder. You are the holder; so hold the napkin roll in one hand and take a dump. Just horrible. I have never seen a hotel/motel room this horrible in my 25 years of living in this country. The amount Expedia charges for this room is not justified.
