"The property was perfect for my sister and I. A lovely light,cosy room with everyting needed. There was even a little fridge in the room with fresh milk and bottled water, also a proper jar of coffee, sachets of yorkshire tea and selection of biscuits. We also had a lovely vase of pink carnations in the room. The garden was so pretty with a little pond and waterfall. I love nature so it was perfect. "Me and my husband stayed for 2 nights as we were going to York races for the day. It was perfect for us room was fabulous clean and modern and a great size. The self service check in was so easy and the self service breakfast was great. Limited free parking to the rear of the hotel was an added bonus. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again for the races next year 😊"

"Nettes Herrenhaus -wir wurden super freundlich empfangen! 15 Minuten Fußweg vom Zentrum York Sehr sauber & gepflegt, Parkplätze vorhanden Frühstück Teilweise Selbstbedienung( frisches Obst, Joghurt, Müsli….); warme Speisen werden nach Wunsch zubereitet. Kaffee: French press WLAN: im Dachgeschoss sehr schlecht , im EG gut Unser Zimmer hat eine Gaube und war dadurch nicht vollständig zu verdunkeln; das 2. Fenster ( Velux)hat ein Verdunklungsrollo) "

"Beautiful property and landscaping. Really kind staff, hard-working, but slow service. Which is fine if you are up for a long relaxed meal. Probably a little understaffed.. Everyone worked very hard. Room was very nice but a little dated the bed was slightly soft for my comfort but very rich and historic site. "
