"Lovely boutique hotel not far from the main station. Easy to find. This was my second stay and it was, once again, excellent. Some lovely staff and good sized rooms which are kept clean. It is not the cheapest but I believe it offers fair value for Amsterdam. There are steps to the main entrance, which may not suit travellers with limited mobility. Recommended. "

"Location is great. Rooms are worn-out, dark and very dusty. However, the bathroom is spacious and clean. Service at breakfast is not professional. They were lots of customers during our stay each morning and the staffs at Bridges restaurant told us that they couldn't handle with the large number of people since there wasn't enough of them. Service was very slow and unorganised. Overall, I think the hotel services and standard doesn't match with the price tag."

"Great place to stay. Walk to a local bar for a drink and dinner. A local bakery with great bread, pastries and coffee if you don't fancy the heavier breakfast of the hotel. Several restaurants and bars all in walking distance but far enough away to not be a noise concern. Hotel food was great. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room and spa were all fabulous. Staff are very helpful and friendly. You can walk to the rest of the city from here, or you could take a tram or hire a bike. "

"Overall is okay just the city tax is very very high. The room I book is on the top which under the roof without window so a bit awkward. As it show in the website as no-view but not mentioned that NO window. It should be mentioned as "No-Window" to make it clear! They dind't clean my room even put sign "Please make up room" I went out and came back in the evening then call to reception on this issue then the house-keeping come and clean within 5-6 mins that's it! But it's not clean with no clean...

"Our bedroom was beautifully decorated-gorgeous colours, textures and fabrics. Bathroom was immaculate with lovely complimentary products. The whole hotel was impeccably furnished - unique decor throughout. Staff were courteous and helpful. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. Loved the cats!! Good choice of hot and cold complimentary drinks with a selection of biscuits and sweets. Highly recommend this hotel"

"Fabulous visit. Really appreciate the excellent location and small boutique vibe. Would book Room 83 again - Canal views. Bathroom shower spacious. Big sunny windows and sitting space. Library bar and Art - a treat. Breakfast pricey but food choices well done. Staff warm and friendly. "
