"Excellent stay at Peterstone last night, comfy and welcoming rooms with glorious views and excellent food too. Special mention to the staff for being so great with catering for my husband’s coeliac disease too - thank you! "
"This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back."
"We had a lovely weekend away at this Inn. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Nice thick curtains that kept out most of the light. Powerful shower. We had a couple of meals and the food was excellent. Breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our car and they let us stay longer in the room whilst we waited for the RAC. Would stay there again if I was in the area."
"My stay at Nant Ddu Lodge Hotel & Spa (pronounced ‘Nan-thee’) was truly memorable. The food was absolutely amazing—every meal was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The hotel itself was comfortable, cozy, and peaceful, making it the perfect retreat. The spa was fully booked during my stay, but the staff went above and beyond to fit me in for a massage—and I’m so glad they did! It was just what I needed. What really stood out overall was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Everyone I...
"A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together.
There were just a few things we thought to mention:
1. No WiFi came as a huge surprise. Personally we (and probably most) assumed there would be wifi. We would’ve really appreciated this being explicitly stated.
2. There was practically no communication from the hosts, just an empty email with a pin on...
"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
