"We stayed in one of the cottages which although a bit dated offer a lot of space and character. The room itself was spotless and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. "The staff were courteous on arrival and gave us a tour of the beautiful building before showing us to our room. The house and surrounding environment were superb. The room was comfortable and clean albeit a little too warm at night. Our breakfast was tasty and varied served by a very polite young lady. We enjoyed our brief stay very much and would recommend it to others. "
