"Proper traditional English hotel! Centre of Hartlepool. Reception staff very friendly as were cleaning staff I met. Quiet despite location and easy walking distance to transport networks."

"Nice and friendly staff, free car park. The mattress should have been replaced years ago and was very uncomfortable. No sound insulation between the rooms so you can hear everything going on in the rooms above and each side. The hotel bar was like walking into the bar in star wars, so we eat at a local restaurant nearby "

"The place isn't clean,the doors aren't functional,the service,no access to clean water,had to use water from toilet,which are not very clean,the Lady is very old,fogetful,spent standing in the cold cos she didn't me the access code,terrible place."

"We were visiting friends so only stayed 1 night. Room was clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was really nice. Full English beautifully cooked and perfect poached eggs! "

"Actually, the process of booking through Hotels.com the claim of everything must be handled by the hotel is not true. They are not in control of the booking. Hotels.com is in control of the booking so they were not able to amend or cancel the booking and the customer service reps consistently would refer me back to Premier Inn, which had nothing to do with booking the stay"

"Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming and professional. The room and bathroom was spacious, clean and well set out. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. I will definitely stay again when in the area!"

"Radiators not warm, did not stay. Too cold in the room. Manager said no other room available. I asked for a refund. Not good enough for a 3 star."
