Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities

BEWARE AND AVOID!

Disappointment was an understatement. Besides the fact that the hotel manager had some racist undertones in his talk, the staff was uncomfortably odd. Their mission is to be eco-friendly, which is great, but their mission of living in a commune & not liking tourists makes it worrisome. No TV is allowed. Men are asked to sit to pee. Music is discouraged. Going into town is frowned upon. BEWARE OF EXTRA CHARGES! The hotel insists that you eat meals with them. It is cheaper to eat meals in town than with them. Avoid! The hotel is a 30 minute hike from the closest bus stop. The bus only runs once an hour. It's just not ideal for anyone who wants to visit Interlaken. That said, the hotel is just more of a hippie hostel that has questionable beliefs/practices. AVOID!

100년더된 목조샬레 욕실은 리모델링하였으나 방이작고 방음이전혀안됨 특히 우리가사용한 방 창문앞으로 옆방사람이 다녀서 불편하였슴.

Rustic Mountain Room

Beautiful rural farm location in the mountains outside of Interlaken. The room accommodation was quite adequate but adjust your expectations to the "rustic" side so that you won't be disappointed. The negative for us was the price charged for dinner and breakfast... much too high for what was provided, even by meal prices we experienced elsewhere during our time in Switzerland. About half of what they charged would have been appropriate when compared with other places we stayed.
