Great location

Overall great stay. Location was perfect. Great for couples. General cleaning was fine but, needs a deep clean. Funky smell. Bed was comfortable and we saw no bugs.

Everything was amazing. It was very homey feeling and everything we needed was there for us. The only thing I was a little grossed out about was the downstairs carpet. It was very dirty and should probably be shampooed more often. We felt like we had to wear our shoes in the house the whole time we were downstairs. Other than that the stay was very peaceful.

Filthy, broken elevators, very old property, owners knowingly oversell parking passes - don’t be surprised if you have to park on the side of the road. Only upside is vicinity to the beach, but know that you get what you pay for.

The room was great. Plenty of room for 6 people. I didn't like the idea we had to go get toilet paper and trash bags. It came with one trash bag and one toilet paper in each bath room. Also the building has two elevators but one didn't work. With that being said we had a great stay and would come back.

Budget friendly

Condo was nice. It needs a little deep cleaning. You hear the noises of the people above you. It was great for a budget friendly condo. They do not have a hot tub. The heated pool is outside. The beach was beautiful.

I did not care for the Condo we stayed at which was Sugar Beach 169. It was not the cleanest to say the least. I left it cleaner than what I came into. I did love that you walk straight from your Condo to the beach. I thought it was odd that the Sugar Shack (the snack shack) closes at 6 p.m. This should stay open way later to accommodate people coming in from long days. Park spaces were very tight. So if you have a truck it is not easy to park. I called about the dishwasher not closing/working and never received a call back when I was told management would call. The a/c did not work properly. Continually having to mess with it to keep the room cool. Not a place I would go again. The only benefit was I could walk to the beach and that's it.

The condo was a bit dated, but that didn't bother us much. We had a great time exploring the beach, playing in the pools, and going on adventures to local attractions. Our friends were in the room across the hall which was convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other families!

The beach access saves this stay! Being able to walk out to the sand and surf is a huge plus... The size and age of the facilities are less than expected... substantially small, and did I mention how noisy it is??? Location won the day and made this stay okay.

Unit was clean. The TV was terrible. The info said there was a new TV when we made reservations. No, the tv was so bad the picture color was so bad and blurred it hurt your eyes to view it. Needs to be replaced.

The unit looked just as pictured. Although it's written in the information about the unit, one may not notice that it's actually 2 stories from the picture (the queen bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms are both upstairs). The view from the balcony was better than I expected, actually, and I read there at least an hour every day while looking out at the gulf. Very relaxing! I liked that carts were available for transporting our belongings. The beach was well-maintained and not too busy during the times were were out there. We'd definitely stay at Sugar Beach again.

Great Comfortable Condo

The condo was clean, beautifully, decorated and had a nice balcony with a partial ocean view. There were two bathrooms - one with a tub/shower combo and one with a shower. We utilized the kitchen and found it to be more than adequate. Parking was fine - be aware that it is $25 per pass per stay. The only complaint is that the mattress and sheets were a bit uncomfortable.
