"Poppies is a little gem in Noord Amsterdam. Noord is less busy than city central with cute neighborhoods and the shipping area has been revamped into entertainment and dining. "I stayed here for a conference. Very comfortable and quiet rooms. Service from staff was all very good. Not the best location for seeing Amsterdam as you are a bit out of the center. Hotel seems to empty and fill based on the river cruises coming and going. "

The whole staff team were exceptional, from Britt, Senne and Putri in reservations and reception through to the team in the restaurant especially Fajar who remembered me wanting soya cappuccinos each morning. "From the moment we checked into the hotel the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. From little touches in the room, to the customer service was excellent. We stayed in the family room (bunk bed) and our kids loved it, it was like having separate rooms. The room was very comfortable and clean and was susprised how spacious it was.
