Spacious but still disappointing
Arrived at hotel to unhelpful and dismissive receptionist, arrived in room to find no soap in shower, one fork and no other utensil in drawer, no coffee plunger, no dish cloth or tea towel, no microwave. Outside the Smoking area for all guests was very close to our windows and no chance of privacy from them during day unless curtains fully closed. Noise from upstairs rooms very noticeable.
Turned up and they had lost our booking, but finally got that sorted.
Restaurant was serving food when we were checking in, but was suddenly closed by the time we came back downstairs and they couldn't even manage to rustle up a piece of fruit.
Room was atrciously decorated, outdated, and tired. Shower was moldy.
Found out later that the locals know not to stay here. Will definitely avoid it in the future
We had a one night stay at The White Swan Country Hotel. We booked last minute online through Hotels.com and were lucky enough to get accommodation. Check in was easy and efficient although the room allocated had been extended to the previous guests. This was not a problem though as we were given another room without delay. We were in Park 4 which was upstairs in the building behind the hotel. It was great - a big room with a deck and separate bathroom. There was no noise from the street but the neighbouring room left their bathroom fan on all night and we could hear this humming through the wall. The bed was very comfy and the room had all we needed. Had a very nice meal at the restaurant with great service. Our only minor complaint was the pillows were very thin and could do with replacing. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a Park Studio for one night. All very nice. Some confusion over breakfast on Saturday morning which should have been in the restaurant, but we then discovered should have been ordered the night before for delivery to the room, somewhat tricky as 6 of us were meeting up to eat. Not what was stated in the literature, and staff were indifferent to the issue. Ended up in a local cafe which was fine.

A nice stay with a great restaurant.
Hotel was pretty decent for the money. A long set of stairs to get to the room. The rooms were large and clean with fridge, kettle and food prep area. Close walking distance right on the strip in Grey Town. Restaurant was good food with good atmosphere. Plenty of parking.
Convenient and central. A welcoming touch was that on check in (about 6 pm) on a cool evening, the room lights had been switched on, the heater was going and the electric blankets were on.
Very disappointing, no service available through the week for dining room breakfast, rooms not contained in the hotel, stairs not advised and were steep and severe for 86 y.o. Forced to get a ground floor suite, which was cold the whole time, and increased in budget, you advertised a lesser rate being offered on your website, motel type rooms not contained within the hotel, very unhappy, staff were ok, but just didn't get it. Could not contact hotel direct for enquiries, overpriced for comfort received.
Facilities: Basic, Everyday; Value: Over-priced, Could be better; Service: Friendly, Courteous; Cleanliness: One dirty mug ok otherwi;
A motel type room out the back of a hotel, but no motel facilities, just tea and coffee things.
Facilities: Outstanding; Value: Affordable; Service: Professional, Friendly; Cleanliness: Immaculate;
The iN-house restaurant was good and very convenient.
Facilities: Top of the line; Value: Great deal; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Spotless;
It's right in the centre of Greytown, a great base for exploring
