"Quite booring hotel and there was empty beerbottles under the bed wich tells me the cleaning wasn´t that great. "

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"Couldn't wish for a better welcome, hosts were exactly my cuppa - laid back and relaxed at all times. Looked after well before I even got to the site and enjoyed an unexpected upgrade. Very decent breakfast to set me up also. Hope to stay there again soon!"

"Decent hotel, not as close to Stanstead as initially expected, but there is a very handy regular shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only downside is that the rooms are very noisy, you can definitely hear what sounded like planes taking off well in to the night."

"Computer said NO when we tried to log in, so a bit of a delay. All staff were super - helpful. Room 1 was nice but a continual loud hum from the kitchen chimney. Went off when the kitchen was closed but back on for breakfast. Bed was comfy. Pub was right in the centre of lovely market town, with lovely church opposite. Breakfast was excellent."

"It literally is a lonely road as in buses pass there but finish early so if your flight is early either book a cab or walk 1hr5 like I did (would never recommend that as the environment was dark and road wasnt easy to walk on) as I arrived in had to wait for check in then got sent to the top floor with no offer of help with me suitcases (bear in mind its 3 floors no lift) not all thr staff are friendly. Put it this way...only stay there if you only need somewhere to rest your head in...

"I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."
