Nice property but understaffed on holiday weekend which led to very long waits at the lounge. Also, the smoldering logs in the courtyard seemed like a cool idea but the smoke lingered and made the rooms smell and messed up our sinuses. Needs a deep clean. But overall a good experience

Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark
The staff at the waterpark was a little rude and both my kids (10 and 13) said more than one swore in their presence. One specifically said “my boss is on my A” (said the full word but it won’t let me send my review with it)

Hotel Julien Dubuque
The staff were fantastic, pool was a little cooler then we would have liked but it was clean and the area was well maintained which is very important to us. We loved the vibe of this hotel, you get the old historic classy feel here. The workout room was actually more impressive than we thought it ...

Irish Cottage Inn & Suites
Nice location if wanting to visit downtown Galena. Hotel has a shuttle that will take you there. Restaurant attached to the hotel had good food and drinks. Nightly entertainment was also good. Would stay there again when visiting the area.

Stoney Creek Inn Galena
Convenient to downtown Galena. Pet friendly which is important for us. Clean and comfortable. The main disappointment was the breakfast. Should have been more options and a little better quality.
