Perfect stay

We had the most perfect time at this hotel! We stayed in a room with a large balcony and it had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed the hotel bars, had breakfast there and then reception staff helped us order takeaway to the room. The little touches like the chocolate and blankets and heater in the room really made our stay special!

Great property! Wonderful onsen, food and staff! The one small issue we would have was the private onsen did not have shampoo, body wash, etc. small things. The place is wonderful with fantastic views of Mt Fugi!

Amazing view of Fuji. Room was comfortable and traditional though a little small. Great base to explore Kawaguchiko for a day or two. Pleasant bar for a drink at the end of a long day.

Loved everything about the hotel. I’ve stayed in many lovely hotels around the world but staying at Mizno is MOST memorable for me. I will definitely tell all my friends about Mizno and come back again. I should have done my homework better, I would have known that I could get a shuttle transfer from the train station to the hotel.

The hotel mini bus collected us from the bus station with very minimal effort from us required. Short drive to the hotel. Staff went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. Fantastic views of Mt Fuji with the lake from the hotel and very easy walk around the lake from the hotel. Lovely onsen experience overlooking Mt Fuji (whilst a bit daunting!) The food was a bit adventurous for us but well presented and the staff were lovely.

The property has an excellent view of Mt. Fuji when it's a clear day. They've thought of everything to make sure you enjoy your balcony view, from providing clean outdoor blankets and outdoor heaters to appropriate seating. The bars have wonderful vibes. There are some public balconies that can be used, the furniture is worn, so overall the public outdoor balconies to enjoy Mt. Fuji could be cleaned up and improved to further provide usable public spaces and options for guests.

Amazing view from our room which was spacious with a balcony. The view was just as expected and why I chose this hotel. Location is a bit of a walk from the train station with the hotel being at the top of a steep slope, but they offer free transportation between the hotel and the station. When you get to the station ask at the tourist information. From the hotel I believe it leaves every half hour from 9am till 11am. The restaurant looked amazing and I was excited to eat there, however they said you had to book and we weren't able to get a booking while we were there! So disappointing. They did recommend a restaurant near by and that was lovely. The rooftop bar was closed which was disappointing, it would have been nice to know in advance. The osen in the hotel was really lovely and definitely worth visiting on your stay. A good size and with a view. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

This hotel is beautifully decorated with a unique upscale library atmosphere in the lobby and bar area. The rooms are spacious and offer stunning views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station which was a nice added bonus. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff who helped carry out bags in and during checkin they served us delicious yuzu lemon tea, classy touch in my opinion. This property offers public onsens free with your stay(tattoos allowed!) but we opted for the private onsen instead. A bit pricey at 5500 yen for 45 mins but the views were just so gorgeous from this outdoor rooftop onsen that it’s worth it! All together a wonderful experience. Thank you Mizno Hotel!
