"This was a unique experience. The 2 indoor and 1 outdoor onsen were very relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The traditional Japanese food was beautifully presented and tasty. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. About 25 minutes walk from Gora station if you are dragging heavy cases up the hill! Otherwise about 15 minutes. "

Definitely avail for the free shuttle bus from Odawara station in Hakone to your hotel and back but make sure you do a reservation for this especially if you are traveling with luggage. Message Ryuguden hotel through Expedia for reservations. If you travel Light or miss the shuttle bus, there is local...

"チェックイン前にも関わらず、雨が強く、バスが止まったから辿り着けるかどうか確認のご連絡をわざわざくださり、一旦チェックインしてから外出して食事に行こうと予定していましたが、バスが止まるくらいひどいなら、食事を済ませてからにしようかなどと、予定が組みやすくなりました。 従業員さんは親切丁寧で、私が予約人数を間違えたのですが、快く対応してくださり、 チェックアウトが7時半〜ですが、雨でイベントに間に合わないかもしれないので、7時に出たいと申し出ましたが、快く対応してくださいました。 お風呂は清掃が行き届いていて、アメニティも整っていて、とても快適でした。 一人で大浴場に入っていたので、従業員さんが入って来られたのは一瞬びっくりしましたが、清掃が行き届いているのだなと安心しました。 "
