"It was a place to rest our heads, but unfortunately the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was visible dirt throughout the room, and several surfaces that should have been wiped down clearly hadn’t been. The water also had a noticeable sulfur smell, which we understand is normal in Iceland. "The cottage was very nice and had everything you need. But no dresser and no freezer. Mini fridge was perfect since we did not cook but made sandwiches. There is a hot water kettle, nescafe coffee maker, a toaster, coffee pods, teapots and pans, cups plates etc It was very comfortable. We did laundry in the washer drier combo. It has an electric car charger upfront if you are driving an EV vehicle. The horses came by to meet us."
