"Great value and good quality throughout. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Plentiful parking and gardens were immaculate. Restaurant was more of a pub style theme and good value with a good selection for breakfast for the breakfast serving."

"The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. "Used as a quick stop over on the way north so was in and out in under 12 hours. However for the price the room was good had everything i needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it was generally really quiet so slept well. Breakfast was okay for a bit of cereal and a coffee did not have anything cooked. "Family room - the room, beds and shower room all clean. Plenty of pillows with the option of firm and soft, duvet is a little small for the bed and the one on the sofa bed was also too small if 2 sharing, so you may need to request extra ones. Aircon is fab for the summer kept the room lovely and cool. Sofa bed is a tight squeeze for 2 children but bed has plenty room for 2 adults. "Our stay at the Ramada Wakefield was extremely disappointing and left us feeling unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Several members of staff were cold and unfriendly throughout our stay.
