Very friendly front desk staff, room was clean and everything worked fine (coffee maker and small fridge). Breakfast was Continental style but more than adequate for our needs while traveling through the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The River Inn is an older property that could definitely benefit from updates and improvements. While the accommodations themselves were fairly average, what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible staff. The two ladies working during our stay were genuinely kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their positive attitudes, friendliness, and willingness to help turned what could have been an ordinary stay into a pleasant experience. Customer service like theirs is becoming harder to find, and they deserve recognition for the care they showed us. They are the reason we're giving this property three stars instead of fewer. If the facility received the same level of investment as the people working there, this could become a fantastic place to stay. Thank you to those two wonderful ladies for making us feel welcome.

My family and I stayed here because it was conveniently located near an event venue. The hotel was safe, the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and the staff was friendly. But the hotel is very tired. I apologized to my family choosing a hotel that was run down. For the price, I was shocked by the lack of upkeep in our rooms. The upholstered chair in the room had so many stains there was no way we would use it. A broken off towel holder on the bathroom door and shampoo holder in the tub area added to the tiredness of the hotel. I really hope the owners put some money into making it look nicer. It has great potential.
