"Very communicative host, who helped us find parking during the Americas Cup and was very engaged at breakfast. Easy access and bathrooms clean, excellent location directly in center of Cagliari. However the rooms themselves are pretty dated and in need of renovation - unclean walls, damp smell, etc. Recommend they need a thorough touch up."

"Ideally placed for the shopping/restaurants. Small hotel and staff, very, very helpful, making excursion reservations and arranging cabs. Room was a little “quirky”, especially the shower behind the bed, not in the bathroom! Noticed that boutique hotels often have eccentricities😀. Everything very clean."

"Our Junior Suite fulfilled all our requirements and Valentina, who runs the property, was exceptionally kind and attentive. The location was fairly central yet quiet, with a supermarket opposite and a choice of excellent restaurants nearby. My wife found some of the pavements and crossings a challenge on her mobility scooter. Why set out a pedestrian crossing with a smooth ramp on one side of the road and an 8-inch kerb on the other??!!"

"It was a great, comfortable pleasant hotel, with bright, spacious cheery rooms, and a breakfast room with delightful views of the sea. Location was perfect, accessible to everything, and some rooms had views of the sea as well. I also enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and their desire to be helpful and accommodating. I was very pleased with my stay at the hotel and glad I booked there."

"Stayed in Ambrogio Fogar. Nice room although the dimensions of 35 square metres were not the same as advertised on the website (70) and the bathroom was also not the same one as described. Would have been nicer to have a wardrobe instead of hanging clothes out in the open though. The room is very large but a lot of space is wasted. The breakfast was, quite honestly, a bit of a non-starter. Each table was given 2 croissant and 3 small pieces of bread. A big bread basket at the buffet would have...

"Incredible experience at this wonderful hotel. Even though we arrived pretty early, they were able to check us in to one of our rooms right away. They also generously upgraded our other room. The location of the property is very central and within walking distance to all the main points of interest in Cagliari as well as many great stores to shop, restaurants, cafes, and bars. "There was a strong smell coming from the drains, and the hotel was extremely noisy. Guests coming and going, or socializing in the common areas, kept me awake late into the night. The staff were friendly and service-minded, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not positive."
