"Great location, comfortable"

"On first impressions the hotel looked great, bed/room & bathroom were well proportioned and clean, but there are a few reasons why I have knocked off some stars. There was only one plug socket in the room and it was no where near a mirror, the bed was hard, and the pillows firm with no option to choose a softer pillow, the noise from the road (taking into consideration that the hotel is very conveniently located close to the roundabout outside the FIRA, so it’s an incredibly busy area) was some of the worst I have ever experienced. I have stayed in many hotels on busy roads but the windows have always been adequate enough so that road noise was minimised, but this wasn’t the case here and the traffic is heavy 24/7 and the underground also runs beneath. The view from the window was completely obscured by something attached to the exterior. The breakfast was minimal to put it politely, next to nothing in terms of hot options, and very little else unless you’re happy with paying for a breakfast and having toast and jam. The straw that broke the camels back for me was that on the 2nd evening the water in my room wasn’t replenished, and so I let reception know and asked if they could ensure I had some that evening, only to be told that you only get water in your room on the first night! I was staying for 4 nights and was astonished that a modern hotel wouldn’t provide water for their guests! Anyway, we travel to Barcelona regularly for business and won’t be staying there again!"
