"I was awakened at 12.20am by the guest next door slamming his door. I rang Reception and they said they would have a word with him. That didn't work. The next night he woke me up at 4.30am. I rang Reception: the receptionist said they couldn't hear the door slam (I was on the 5th floor). When I insisted, they moved me to a room that was badly in need of refurbishment. They have not yet agreed to refund me for the two sleepless nights, despite admitting that the behaviour of the guest next door...

"Nice rooms, very few amenities, no coffee in the rooms, Outdoor pool was not open yet, but looked ready, (34 degrees outside. People sitting in the lawn, lounge chairs weee locked up , asked to pay 12 euros each to use the indoor pool!!! Was once a nice hotel, a little dated and will nickel and dime you. Stuffy atmosphere"

"Service was great in reception they were really nice and helpful. But cleanest of the room wasn’t great. We have some few episodes with lights going on and off. We found parking in the paying parking spot in the front of the hotel that was great but we were only staying one night. The hotel has a parking place but is not exactly in the hotel. The location of the hotel is great a walking distance to the “Aqueduct” and the “Alcazar”"

"The staff were great and I appreciated the early check in. Breakfast was also great. Unfortunately there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom that seemed to be coming through the vents from the room above. They should look at blocking it off because it was a strong smell, as if someone had been smoking in my room."

"The hotel was beautifully located at the centre of Segovia. You get out of the hotel and all attractions are walking distance. I loved people watching from my balcony during our stay. Staff were friendly and spoke english. (Thank goodness for that!) The room was a good size and the decor was so gorgeously victorian. Breakfast was alright, just the typical continental breakfast. Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel and Segovia."

"Es ist alles sehr schlecht organisiert. Die Taverne unter der Unterkunft, die aber auch die Schlüssel raus gibt ist vollkommen unmotiviert. Im Zweifel weiß man von nichts und dort was zu essen zu bekommen, ist unmöglich wenn man kein spanisch spricht. Die Zimmer sind muffig, liegen über der Außengastro und zeigen zur Hauptstraße. Beim Laden des Handys haut es die Sicherungen raus und die Klimaanlage geht plötzlich an."
