We were on a touring holiday of Austria and Italy and this was one of our favourite hotels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel on one evening and it was warm enough to eat on the terrace. The food was delicious and the setting was beautiful. Although not in the centre of Bolzano, it is only a 15 minute walk into town and taxis are not prohibitively expensive (we took one back to the hotel at around 11pm and it cost 8 euros). Friendly, helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite (thank you) which was clean and had all the amenities you could wish for. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and an evening meal which was delicious. There is a large selection at breakfast including a hot buffet. The hotel itself is a 2 minute walk from Bolzano Sud train station and it is easy to get into Bolzano by train, one stop, or alternatively a bus.
