"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. "My favourite thing about the stay was the view. We had booked the mountain view and it just so happened that the day had clear skies which meant a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji. Staff was very friendly and spoke good enough English to get us settled in. The room itself was very clean and spacious. Our stay included breakfast and the food was amazing. Buffet style breakfast ensured we had enough food to give us energy to visit neighbouring shrines in the area. The cheap bike rentals was also an added bonus. Usually they’re expensive by the station but at the Hotel it was 500 yen for 3 hours if I’m not mistaken. There is a lady who works the gift shop and I’d like to say she was very welcoming and thoughtful. She helped with forwarding our luggage to the next hotel and gave us tips about our next location. She waved us goodbye as we left the hotel. Overall, amazing stay. Food is great, staff is amazing, the view is stellar."
